Kate Middleton is the envy of many for her lithe frame. The sporty Duchess has always enjoyed staying fit and played hockey during her time at school. However, many have been questioning just how the stunning royal has shed her baby weight third time around. One Twitter user wrote: “How does Kate Middleton basically lose her baby weight immediately after giving birth and I’ll be six weeks into my summer fitness routine, still trying to lose my ‘I ate too many snacks whilst revising’ weight. ”Another said: “Seeing how fast Kate Middleton bounced back after giving birth makes me really motivated to get my baby weight off. “Eight and a half years have flown by.”So how has Kate lost weight? An expert has claimed that losing baby weight is largely down to genetics. Laura Spicer of The Women’s Health Clinic told MailOnline: “Some women definitely can snap back into shape. “However, if you are fit and have had a healthy pregnancy with a normal BMI it is possible to be similar to your pre-pregnancy body shape. “It’s also got a lot to do with genetics, so if Mum recovered well you’re more likely to as well. ”She added that snacking on healthy foods can help you to lose weight quickly and not binge on foods your body is craving. The NHS published advice on keeping fit and healthy after having a baby.It said: “Try to make eating well a priority. It will make you feel better, and healthy eating is important for the whole family. Aim to eat at least five portions of fruit and vegetables a day.“Try cooking more than you need and freeze a couple of extra portions for another day. Tinned and frozen fruit and vegetables are quick to prepare, and they count towards your five portions a day. ”Kate Middleton’s Zara dress showed off her slim post baby body yesterday at the polo. The mum-of-three played with her children Prince George, four, and Princess Charlotte, two. The Duchess of Cambridge appeared at the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy at the Beaufort Polo Club. She wore a £39.99 Zara off-the-shoulder cotton and linen blend dress. The dress has a low neckline and showed off the sporty Duchess’s shoulders.
