In this video Dr. Berg answers the question about Exogenous Ketones and not losing weight. Exogenous ketones can actually slow down your weight loss. Ketosis is a condition where the body turns fat into the alternative fuel, ketones. He also talks about two ways to have ketone in the urine.

2 Ways to Have Ketones in the Urine
• Taking Ketones
• Getting your Body into Ketosis (Diet Part)
When you have ketones in the urine, you could call it ketosis but it absolutely not mean that the body is burning fat which is turning into those ketones.

Can Ketones help you get into ketosis? YES.
Can taking Ketones help you lose weight? NO. Because it bypasses your body’s ability to make your own ketones.
